Names beginning to come in for the first Lunch Club trips to the Speakers club on May 1st and the Carrick Centre on May 4th. It's always so exciting when a new project starts to take off! If you know someone from the North Carrick villages who would benefit from this FREE service, then let them know and get them to give us a ring on 01292 270864. There are too many socially isolated people in North Carrick - let's try and do something to fix it. ... See MoreSee Less

Thanks to the generosity of the PAR 2 project, we are delighted to be able to offer free transport to the older and disabled residents of the North Carrick Villages to attend a weekly Lunch Club in Maybole. The Lunch Club will be held in the Speakers Club every Tuesday from May 1st. As well as food, there will be numerous activities on offer for participants to try out if they wish.

The free transport is also available to take village residents to the Carrick Centre Lunch Club on the last Friday of every month. So if you are stuck in the house, or know someone who is, and would like to get out, meet new and old friends, have a meal and a laugh, get in touch. The transport is FREE (for as long as the funding lasts) but there will be a small charge for your lunch.

Either phone SACT direct on 01292 270864 or contact the Community Link Practitioner Tracey Middleton on 07967 584415 to book your place on the bus. Looking forward to meeting you!

So anyone in the villages can go along, enjoy a wee swallae and then home again safely. I'll post it again nearer the time but it's worth keeping to hand. ... See MoreSee Less
