Important Update – 26/9/18

Road Closure – B734 at Barskaig, Barr. Diversion in Place – Until 1st October 2018

We have had confirmation today from Ayrshire Roads Alliance that the road remains closed until the tree is removed. The road is likely to reopen on the 1st of October. The CB8 service remains on diversion until the B734 re-opens.

Due to the road closure and the diversion in place, timings will be afffected by 5 or 10 minutes at either end, Girvan and Barr.

The diversion route carries on at the Garyloop junction, through Dailly and turns right onto the Milton Hill, down into Barr via Glenginnet Road. It will turn at Barr Church and return to Girvan by the same route, via Dailly. Expected delays are 5 to 10 minutes.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause for a situation beyond our control.
